Well, you know what they say: “You can’t put a price on education!” And that’s especially true for Jehovah’s Witnesses, who are encouraged to attend college and pursue higher learning. You won’t regret it.
Why Can’T Jehovah’S Witnesses Attend College? [Solved]
Well, it’s no surprise that JWs don’t encourage higher ed - they’ve been saying the world’s gonna end any day now for over a hundred years! I mean, why bother getting a degree if you think the world’s gonna end tomorrow?
- Beliefs: Jehovah Witnesses believe that higher education is not necessary for salvation, so they do not typically pursue college degrees.
- Alternatives: Instead, many Jehovah Witnesses opt to pursue vocational training or apprenticeships in order to gain the skills needed for a successful career.
- Exceptions: There are some exceptions to this rule, as some Jehovah Witnesses may choose to attend college if it is necessary for their chosen profession or if they feel called by God to do so.
- Support: The organization provides support and guidance for those who choose to pursue higher education, including resources such as scholarships and financial aid programs.
- Benefits: Attending college can provide many benefits such as increased earning potential and access to a wider range of job opportunities than those available without a degree.
Well, Jehovah’s Witnesses can go to college if they want to. It’s totally up to them. But they don’t usually participate in activities like fraternities and sororities, ‘cause that’s not their thing. So, while they’re there, they’ll be studying hard and focusing on their classes - no partying for them! Still, it’s great that they have the option of attending college if that’s what they choose to do.
